Solid CO2 Cleaning Equipment

Many people mistakenly believe that dry ice cleaning involves spraying liquid CO₂ to turn it into dry ice to remove dirt. In fact, this is a typical technical misunderstanding! True dry ice cleaning uses compressed air as the "power pipeline" to send solid dry ice particles at high speed to the surface of the equipment to be cleaned. These dry ice particles are like precise "scale-removing cannonballs". As soon as they come into contact with dirt, they not only break through the surface dirt with impact force, but also instantly sublimate into gas, increasing their volume by 800 times and forming a miniature "explosion", completely "breaking" off stubborn dirt. Coupled with the low temperature making the dirt brittle, the cleaning effect is directly enhanced to the maximum. If liquid CO₂ is directly sprayed and turns into dry ice and snow on the outside before falling onto the workpiece, it is completely different: dry ice and snow are light and loose, and do not have sufficient impact force to deal with hard dirt. Moreover, the transformation process of liquid CO₂ is particularly energy-consuming and the pressure is unstable. It is not only difficult to clean thoroughly but also prone to safety issues. Choosing the right dry ice cleaning method can not only protect the equipment but also complete the cleaning efficiently!
